Roshan Digital Account has achieved 'new records,' according to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

On Sunday, Prime Minister Imran Khan revealed that the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) had established new records, noting that inflows and deposits had both grown by a large margin.


The prime minister took to Twitter to deliver the "excellent news" from the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).


"SBP has some good news: #RoshanDigitalAccount has reached new benchmarks. On Friday, inflows surpassed $1.5 billion, with $1 billion invested in Naya Pakistan Certificates "He sent out a tweet.


He also revealed that since the "$1 billion event two months ago," the RDA's accounts and deposits had established new records.

 

        

Inflows from RDA cross the $1bn mark


The SBP reported in April that foreign exchange inflows through the RDA had surpassed $1 billion.


In a tweet, the State Bank announced, "Fund inflows through RDA have exceeded $1 billion in just over seven months."




PM Khan also took to Twitter to express his gratitude to abroad Pakistanis and the SBP for guaranteeing increased foreign cash inflows into the nation.




“Alhamdulillah, RDA funds have surpassed $1 billion. I'd like to thank our abroad Pakistanis for their tremendous support; I also appreciate SBP and bank efforts in reaching this major milestone in such a short time,” the prime minister tweeted on Saturday.
